Patterns of Destiny
A scientific outlook from a Vedic Astrology perspective.
Every soul born has a pattern of destiny. Its primary goal, to achieve what it wants, and go forward from this life to the next, through re-births, based on the Universal Law of Karma.
In Vedic Astrology, The NadiAmsa (D-150 chart) talks about a "Bird View" of one's destined pattern in this life.
From a Lagna Chart (D-1), the position of all Grahas including Lagna or Ascendant are mapped as per astronomical scientific position of planets. The Ascendant is calculated based on daily position of Sun and the rotation of Earth, taking the morning sunrise at the East Horizon, as the basis.
The NadiAmsa chart (D-150) is a subtle division of each of the 12 houses of the zodiac.
This amounts to 12 degree of an arc of the zodiac, and it takes 48 seconds for the ascendant to go to the next NadiAmsa.
So there are 3600 unique NadiAmsa arcs of the whole zodiac. In a way each of these arcs turn up every day.
A person born in a particular NadiAmsa ascendant, will cross his own amsa, everyday. And the grahas placed in each nadiamsa will also be crossed by the flow of time.
The birth Amsa and the current transit amsa of each graha, would play out the destiny, as of this time.
Thus the pattern of destiny as per birth chart NadiAmsa, will play day-in-out according to transit.
Lagna NadiAmsa and NavaAmsa position of Moon, are considered together. The reason being, NadiAmsa is classified into three types based on Fixed, Moveable and Dual signs. Lagna takes around 6 hrs to cross one set of signs and Moon to cross one navamsa of one type of sign.
In a way, a person born with a lagna ascendant, a Moon Rashi and NavaAmsa, would go through one navamsa, one rasi and one set of lagna NadiAmsa signs, in a day, which is significant for a day's destiny.
Mapping the above transit with birth position of all grahas including the lagna, is the crux of the problem to delineate the destiny.
Transits are not the sole markers of time. The birth NadiAmsa itself reveals the destiny and it unfolds its petals of destiny in the transits as triggers to start of destiny-event(s).
So the time calculation for destiny is within the NadiAmsa (D-150) itself. To be continued, in the next post for time calculations.
So be it , Tathaastu.
